I Get Featured on “The Media Center Show”

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited by Media Center Show host Ian Dixon to share the technology side of my Africa trip with him on his show.  We had a great conversation and hit on a lot of topics including Media Center, Zune, Home Server, Movies, Windows 7 and much more.  The show was published today so go have a listen!  My thanks go to Ian for having me on the show.

If you go to http://www.homeservershow.com we have discussed several options for offsite backup. NTBackup did indeed give us a lot of trouble although it did seem to be working properly (it was an issue of file size).

Are you certain that this method actually works?

As I understand it, NTBackup and similar backup softwares do not properly understand the Drive Extender of WHS, thus what you are backing up are only "tombstones" of the files, not the files themselves.
